Despite the financial challenges facing the U.S. Postal Service, the Owenton Post Office continues to deliver top-quality service.
In a recent Gallup Organization Survey, USPS customers gave the facility high marks for efficiency, accuracy of delivery, consistency of delivery and wait-time in line.
Since the Owenton office has reached five-star status for 12 quarters in a row, it has been elevated to the coveted Gold Level in the Postal Service’s Five-Star Customer Service Program. Of the nearly 800 post offices in the Kentuckiana District, only three others have reached the Gold Level — Mount Sterling, Lancaster and Corbin.
The Kentuckiana District as a whole is also in the Gold Level.
“We continue to do what we do best — provide excellent service,” said Owenton Postmaster Darla Baker. “We appreciate the feedback from our customers. It lets us know how we can provide the very best service.”
