The Daughters of the American Revolution had a special guest speaker at their June 6 meeting, held at the Owen County Historical Society Museum.
Mattie Cook, who won the DAR Good Citizenship award was the guest speaker. Cook graduated from OCHS this year.
Peggy Trinkle, past regent called the meeting to order with Betty Whitehead giving a beautiful devotional and the main topic, “His is a Great Love,” discussed numerous things and ways to make up money for the DAR.
