Lady Rebels weather storm to win a pair

The Owen County Lady Rebels took part in the “Where’s the Beach Classic” over the weekend in Rockcastle County. Maybe the event should have been named the “Where’s the Basement Classic?”
After playing Friday night and losing 2-1 to Clay County in extra innings, the Lady Rebels were facing two more games Saturday. They did not know they would be taking on the weather as well.
