So far, so good for the Owen County High School Lady Rebels.
The team played three games last week and won all three to get the new season off to a good start.
The Lady Rebels opened the new season last Tuesday night on the road against Shelby County.
After the squad struggled from both the field and the free-throw line, Owen County managed to sneak out of Shelbyville with a 45-43 victory. The team shot just under 35 percent from the field and were 8-18 from the free-throw line.
Senior Hannah Neeley led the Lady Rebels with 17 points and six rebounds.
