We finally got some measurable rain this week. It’s been clouding up and thundering and lightning, but nothing would happen. On Friday night, it went through the same routine but the sky opened up and it rained for about 40 minutes. There was almost an inch of rain in the gauge Saturday morning. I had mowed Thursday morning in bits and pieces because there were so many brown spots under the trees. Saturday morning, everything was green again.
