Kay’s Branch News: Summer starts with car troubles

Summer arrived last week and I am still waiting for Spring.
It was 67 degrees when I got home from church Sunday morning. I changed into sweats and socks and curled up with a book all afternoon.
We’ve had better than two inches of rain this week. I managed to play 18 holes of golf on Wednesday though. It was cold and windy all morning but we managed to finish by 12:30 p.m. and missed the rain. We could see it raining at the airport and the wind was blowing a fine mist across the holes that run along the road, but we never actually got rained on.
