Kay’s Branch News: Finding an eighth and a new friend

We finally got some sunshine last week. You could hear the sounds of lawn mowers all up and down the Branch. Sadly, it didn’t shine Wednesday. Another golf day cancelled. I had made Sandy’s grooming appointment on Wednesday morning, thinking I would be occupied most of the day. I told them to try to get him done as quickly as possible because I had no place to go but shopping. That is not a good thing. They did manage to get him done pretty quickly. I picked him up at 11. He had gone from looking like a red, fat woolie-worm to a beige pot-bellied pig.
