Kay’s Branch News: Around here, everyone shares triumphs and tragedies

The golf gods were evidently listening, because we had a very nice day to play to play Wednesday. It was cloudy but no rain nor wind. There were 28 ladies signed up to play and 28 showed up. That is a first. I think everybody had a very good day. I want to thank Gilbert and his staff for making our outing a success. All the ladies enjoyed the homemade pies. They always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
