Junior Olympic skills competition to be held

Local youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13 have the opportunity to participate in the Jr. Olympic Skills Competition. This free grassroots youth participation program allows boys and girls, competing separately, the opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities,  while promoting sportsmanship.

The basketball portionwill be hosted by Owen County Parks & Recreation on June 17 at the OCES gym beginning at 6 p.m. Participants may register the day of the event.
