Johnson to represent Owen in statewide pageant

For Christina Johnson, becoming involved in beauty pageants wasn’t about taking home the sash and crown, but instead about gaining confidence. Like many young women Johnson’s age, confidence in who they are and what they want to be may be hard to come by.
The poise and confidence she has gained will serve her well as she chases her next dream – a college scholarship.
Johnson will be one of about 50 young women representing different areas of the state in the Miss Kentucky Collegiate Pageant, held Feb. 16 in Somerset.
