Johnson receives fifth district KSDAR Good Citizen Award

Keegan B. Johnson, representing the John Guill Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, received the Kentucky Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s Fifth District DAR Good Citizen Award at the 117th KSDAR State Conference,
The youth awards ceremony was held on April 6 at the Hilton Lexington/Downtown Hotel in Lexington. The award was presented by Jessieanne Wells, KSDAR State Regent.
Keegan, a graduating senior at Owen County High School, is the son of Troi Cunningham and Scotty Johnson. The senior selected as “DAR Good Citizen” must have demonstrated the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.  Keegan is an honor student, band member, peer counselor, tutor and a graduate of Leadership Owen County.
He is also an active participant in his church and community.  
Keegan plans to attend a four-year university to obtain a degree in computer science. His ambition is to be a computer programmer and systems administrator.
