Jerry Lee Williamson, a Warsaw resident, died August 22, 2008, at his daughter’s home at the age of 56. He was born in Gallatin County, the son of Paul and Betty Boaz Williamson. He drove a gas delivery truck for Lykins Oil and was a member of the Paint Lick Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, April (David) Cozart of Warsaw; a son, Jacob Tyler Williamson of Warsaw; two brothers, Robert “Sonny” Williamson of Victoria, Texas, and Paul Wayne Williamson of Warsaw; three sisters, Shirley Morris of Warsaw, Mary Lou Spencer of Owenton and Lisa Cozine of Warsaw; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Brooklyn Cozart. Funeral services were held August 25, 2008. Burial was in Warsaw Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jacob, Paul Wayne and Sonny Williamson, Chad, Ryan and Jordan Morris, Justin Spencer, Jeremy Webster and Nick Dunavent. Honorary pallbearers were Ricky and Hayden Cozine, David and Dylan Cozart. Memorial contributions may be made to Paint Lick Pioneer Club or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
