Helen Virginia Edens

Helen Virginia Edens, 89, died October 17, 2008, at St. Elizabeth South Hospital in Edgewood.

Born August 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sayle and Mary Virginia Bourne Garvey.

Mrs. Edens was a retired beautician and postal clerk in Sanders and a member of Sanders Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Douglas Edens and sister, Dorothy Elaine Garvey.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Benton Edens of Warsaw and Jerry Ray Edens of Latonia.

Memorial services were held October 20, 2008, at McDonald & New Funeral Home with Susan Bryan and Hardin Lowe officiating. Burial was in Owenton Cemetery.
