Harold Perkins, 89, of Owenton, passed away Wednesday Nov., 14, 2012, at the Florence Park Care Center.
Born July 13, 1923 in Owenton, he was the son of the late Brish and Dollie Baker Perkins. Also preceding him in death were his siblings, Edward Perkins, Lucille Beverly, Helen Towles, and Dorothy Davis.
Mr. Perkins was a life long farmer, worked in construction and was a truck driver. He was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. He proudly served his country during World War II in the Army. He saw action in the European theater where he received a bronze star.
