Greenhouse hit by vandals

Juvenile suspects questioned

A case of vandalism that apparently started in New Liberty last week ended in damage to the Owen County High School agriculture department’s greenhouse.
Owen County Sheriff Zemer Hammond said juveniles are responsible for the damage, which included tore up signs in New Liberty, broken church windows near Big Twin and tore up plastic at the high school’s greenhouse.
Owen County School District Superintendent Rob Stafford said the side of a metal building was also beat in at the high school and plants inside the greenhouse were also damaged.
