Gayheart named NCKC Player of the Week

Owen County Lady Rebel Rianna Gayheart has been named the NCKC Player of the Week. The freshman took home the honor after a week where she averaged 25 points in two games. Gayheart totaled 15  points, and five rebounds against Grant County in the season opener. She then dropped 35 points on Williamstown in leading Owen County to their first win of the season. She connected on five 3-pointers as well as pulling down eight rebounds against the Lady Demons. This is the first time Gayheart has won the award.
