Beef synchronization
The weather we had this past summer may cause some later calving cows to be particularly late in coming into cycle for re-breeding this spring. There are some techniques available that might help producers tighten up the potentially drawn-out calving season for next year.
A meeting to discuss new research and methods of estrus synchronization for beef cattle will be held at the Carroll County Extension Office at 7 next Tuesday night. Anyone interested in learning more about this is invited to attend. Call the extension office for more information.
