Homecoming Opponent: East Jessamine Jaguars

Place: Patterson Field

Time: 7:30 p.m.

• East Jessamine is coached by Mike Bowlin. The school is located in Nicholasville.

• The Jaguars come into Friday night’s game after dropping an 8-0 decision to Western Hills at home. The win dropped them to 2-3 on the season.

• East Jessamine entered last Friday’s game averaging 31 points a game before being shutout by Western Hills.

• The Jaguars are looking for their first winning season since 2006. After finishing 8-3 that year, the Jaguars went 5-6 in 2007 and 4-7 in 2008.

• It has been sweet home Owen County for the Rebels as of late. Since 2006, the Rebels have seven wins. Of those, five have come at home. The last time Owen County did not win at least one home game was 2005.

• The Rebels will be looking to win on homecoming for the second consecutive year. Last year, on Oct. 3rd, Owen County defeated Atherton 20-6.

• In other games involving district teams on Friday night, Carroll County (5-0) will host Trimble County. DeSales (3-2) will take on Fern Creek while Christian Academy of Louisville (4-1) will travel to North Bullitt.
