Kentucky American Water presented four $500 grants to the following Owen County fire departments yesterday at the Kentucky River Station II at Hardin’s Landing in Owen County.  In addition to the
presentations, attendees toured the facility and enjoyed lunch.
• Monterey Volunteer Fire Department - to purchase portable radios for new members. Radios will be compatible as required by the Federal Communications Commission.
