Fan Fabulous

Despite temperatures in the triple digits for much of last week, visitors from as far as Japan came out for the second Owen County Fan Fair, and coordinators for the event estimate that approximately 800 attended.
The event ran from June 26-30 at the Owen County Fairgrounds, with local vendors and artisans setup and a variety of events each day.
Fan Fair began in 2011 when Kentucky Speedway hosted the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in hopes of reaching  out to race fans traveling through Owen County for the event.
