There is an older couple in my neighborhood. They are nice enough. Both of them are retired and stay pretty much to themselves most of the time.
Since we only moved to the neighborhood a few weeks ago, my wife, Kellee, asked the lady neighbor if we could expect a lot of trick-or-treaters this Halloween.
I was kinda shocked by their answer.
My wife was told that they don’t participate in trick-or-treat – not because of a religious belief against Halloween but simply because they don’t want to hand out candy.
