Doyle Devers was named facility manager of United Producers Inc. in Owenton, effective Nov. 21, 2011.
As facility manager, Devers will provide leadership and oversight for the UPI-Owenton operation, facility and staff. He will be responsible for development of customer relationships, customer service, business development and bottom line at the market. Also, he will manage the delivery of all UPI services and programs and maintain a competitive market place for the members of the cooperative.
“Along with his knowledge and understanding of the cattle auction business, Doyle brings stability, integrity and a history of good relationships with our members,” said Dennis Bolling, president and CEO of United Producers Inc. “We are very confident that we can continue the progress at Owenton under Doyle’s leadership.”
Devers has been employed at the UPI-Owenton facility for 11 years. During this time, he has filled the role of assistant facility manager and most recently has stepped in as interim facility manager.
