Two storms blew through Kentucky Speedway Friday night.
The first came during qualifying for the Quaker State 400. The second was during the Feed the Children 300 in the name of Austin Dillon.
Dillon dominated the day in Sparta. He first captured the pole position and then won the Feed the Children 300 by leading 192 of 200 laps.
The victory was the first for Dillon in the Nationwide Series. His seemingly easy victory also propelled the North Carolina native to top spot in the points standings ahead of Elliot Sadler.
