Johnny and Rhonda Denny are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittney Christine Denny, to Christopher Paul Smoot. Chris is the son of Paul and Valerie Smoot. Brittney is a 2008 graduate of Owen County High School and is employed by First Farmers Bank as a teller. Chris, a 2000 graduate of Owen County High School, is a local farmer and owner/operator of Smoot Gate Sales.
A spring wedding is being planned for April 30, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. at Long Ridge Baptist Church.
