David C. Burton, 82, of Corinth, died Sept. 15, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, South in Edgewood. He was a retired machinist for Conoco Phillips in Williamstown and a farmer. He was a member of New Columbus United Methodist Church and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Bramlett Burton; two daughters, Tenia Burton Baldwin of Owenton, and Paula Burton Jones of Williamstown; two sons, Barry Burton and Scotty Burton, both of Corinth; two sisters, Bertha Corenlius of Dayton, Ohio, and Ruby Vallandingham of Greenville, Ohio; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 19, 2008, at New Columbus Methodist Church. Burial in Souder Cemetery in Owen County.
Memorials are suggested to Souder Cemetary, in care of McDaniel Funeral Home, P.O. Box 7, Corinth, KY 41010.
