Meeting the Needs closed for renovations
Meeting the Needs will be closed beginning May 26, and will reopen at its new location, 916 Hwy. 22 E., once work and inspections are complete at the new site in June. Commodities (senior and regular) will be served from the current Long Ridge location June 13.

Republican meeting set for June 8
The Owen County Republican meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Smith House Restaurant.

Class of ’71 hosting reunion

NorthKey to host open house
NorthKey Community Care will host an open house at its new location, 326 Roland Ave., Owenton, from 4-6 p.m., June 12.

Retired teachers to meet June 13
The Owen County Retired Teachers will meet at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, at the Smith House Restaurant.

FCC Community Food Pantry open June 14 and 17
The FCC Community Food Pantry, 217 W. Seminary St., will be open from 10 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, June 14, and Saturday, June 17. To make appointments call (502) 484-3451 or (502) 750-3342 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. only, Tuesday, June 13. One-hundred appointments will be scheduled.

Farm-to-Table Dinner set for June 16
A farm-to-table dinner fundraiser for the Owen County Farm & Craft Market will take place at 7 p.m., Friday, June 16, with freshly prepared, locally-grown ingredients. The cost is $35 per plate. The food will be prepared by Chef Michael Bradley. There will be live music. For tickets or more information, please call (502) 484-3755.

Soil conservation meeting date changed
The Owen County Soil Conservation’s regular monthly meeting has been changed to 8 p.m., Monday, June 19.
