Regular Wednesday night activities will resume tonight at 7 p.m. There are classes for preschool through high-school students and a men’s Bible study class.
The January Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday.
An informational meeting about Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University  will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Wild Goose Cafe on West Seminary Street in Owenton. FPU classes will be held beginning Jan. 17 at The Wild Goose Cafe each Monday night at 6:30 p.m. through April 18. Contact Patti Clark for more information.
Meeting the Needs Ministry is in dire need of personal hygiene items. Boxes are located in the MBC back foyer for donated items.
Pastor Tony Watkins started a new series this week called “Family Affairs.”
His first sermon touched on the blessings of being grandparents and will continue next week with “Why Families Are Important,” a sermon that will define roles for all types of families. Other topics to be covered include: resolving conflict in your marriage; the importance of fathers to the family; the mother-child relationship; living life in the fast lane; and “breaking brats.” Please join us as we look at what the Bible says about growing healthy families.
