Charles (Buddy) Ayres

Charles (Buddy) Ayres, 82, husband of Jane Yancey Ayres, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.
He was born Dec. 8, 1929, the son of the late Pauline Bishop Ayres.
A member of the First Baptist Church, Owenton, he was a retired 35 year employee of the Kentucky Department of Highways.
Besides his wife of 59 years, he is survived by three children, a daughter, Melinda Green, Owenton; two sons, Robert (Sandy) Ayres and David (Gina) Ayres, both of Owenton; three grandsons, Adam Green, of Owenton, Jeb Rbert and Caleb Lowell Ayres, both of Crestwood; and a sister, Marie Dunavent, of Owenton.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sara Jane Green.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Main Street location of McDoanld and New Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Main Street location of McDonald and New Funeral Home by Rev. Jesse Bourne and Rev. Brad Banks, with burial in the Owenton IOOF Cemetery.
