Break-in at ex-boyfriend’s house leads to arrest

An Owen County woman is being charged with first-degree burglary after allegedly breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s house.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 5 Public Affairs Officer Brad Arterburn, Jennifer Stosberg, 43, allegedly took a gun and some gas on June 15 from the home located on Herman Green Road.

She was arrested by KSP June 25.

The gun was recovered.

Arterburn said any time a gun is used in a burglary or stolen from the home, it becomes first-degree burglary.

According to state law, first-degree burglary is a class B felony.
