The Owen County High School Agricultural Department may be growing.
The members of the Owen County Board of Education discussed the future of 111 acres of farmland the district owns.
Owen County School District Director of Maintenance Dan Logan said some members of the high school faculty want to expand the agriculture opportunities.
“The agriculture department here wants to try to expand and develop an agricultural research farm,” Logan said.
