With a timeline that projects a new school superintendent being named by Aug. 19, the Owen County School Board is moving forward in its search process.
The board held a special meeting June 8 when members voted to use the Kentucky School Board Association’s superintendent-search service.
KSBA representative Mike Oder reviewed the selection process with the board and helped it draft a timeline. The timeline began Thursday with advertising the open position. Advertising will continue approximately six weeks.
