BMS girls team opens season

Oct. 21 was opening night for the Bowling Middle School Lady Rebels. Both the sixth- and seventh-grade team and the eighth-grade team were in action against Gallatin County.

In the first game, the sixth- and seventh-graders lost to the Lady Wildcats.

The team has only three players returning from last year’s squad. Kennedi Dermon led the Lady Rebels with 7 points and five rebounds. Shelby Gambrell had 5 points while Andi Buford tossed in 3. Mackenzie Fitzgerald and Allison Dempsey had 1 point each.
