Michael and Amy Courtney of Owenton would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Makayla Grace Courtney. She was born June 10, 2011, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center weighing 5 pounds, 14 3/4 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Paternal grandparents are Billy True of Paris and the late Mary True. Maternal grandparents are Carl Davis of Owenton and Connie Haynes of Richwood. Paternal great-grandparents are Geneva McDaniel of Lexington, the late Lewis (Sonny) Courtney, Louise True of Paris and the late Bill True. Maternal great-grandparents were the late Jimmie and Frances Davis of Owenton and the late Shirley Neuspickel of Demossville.
