Billy Wayne Glass

Billy Wayne Glass, 47, of Bagdad died Sept. 22, 2008.

A native of Owen County, he worked for the Finance Cabinet and attended Peaks Mill Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Michelle Simmons Glass; two daughters, Sandy Glass Amanor, Frankfort, and Kristi Holt, Lawrenceburg; three brothers, E.T. Glass, Owenton, Robert D. Chipman and James Chipman II, both of Frankfort; four sisters, Ruth Salyers, Shelbyville, Jacqueline Brantley, Georgia, Doris Smith and Sue Chipman, both of Frankfort; step-father, James Chipman Sr., Owenton; and five grandchildren, Troy Amanor, Emily Amanor, Camron Sheets, Landen Willard and Easten Holt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eastland Tucker Glass and Beulah Delores Prather Chipman.

Services were held Sept. 26, 2008, with the Rev. Wade Hughes officiating. Burial was in Lawenceburg Cemetery.
