After 38 years, Keith retires from area bank

Michael Keith, who held the position of executive vice president and senior loan officer of the Owenton First Farmers Bank, has retired after 38 years of service.

Keith began working at Farmers Bank in 1970 as a teller and held numerous positions throughout his 38 years.

“I worked at about every capacity the bank had,” Keith said. “I was always going to school for it.”

Keith is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
