With 4-H running through her veins, local girl wins big at state fair

-A A +A
By Elisabeth Moore

Once a year the people of Kentucky gather in Louisville to take part in music, shopping, exhibitions and more at the Kentucky State Fair.
While many fairgoers view the two-week event as a farewell to summer, one local girl attended to showcase her hard work and dedication as a member of Owen County 4-H.
Owen County High School 10th-grader Kelsey Davis won multiple ribbons at this year’s state fair and went as far as receiving Class Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in Upcycle Container Garden in the 4-H Horticulture Division.
