Glenn McPherron, 69, of Livingston, died Nov. 9, 2008, in Falmouth. He was born in Owen County on Feb. 24, 1939, the son of the late William and Margaret Osborn McPherron.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Robinson McPherron of Livingston; five sons, Victor of Independence, Glenn Davis of Independence, Jeff of Dayton, Rick of London, and Mark of Greenville, Tenn.; five daughters, Dawna of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeanett of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kimberly of Bellvue, Bonnie Jo of Warsaw, and Robin of Powell, Tenn.; one sister, Margaret Tucker of Louisville; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Eunice; three brothers, Joe, Gene and Davis; and one infant daughter, Megan.
Funeral services were held Nov. 12, 2008, at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home. Services were officiated by Bro. Steve McKinney. Burial was in Bales Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Frost, Glen D. McPherron, Mark McPherron, Victor McPherron, Jeff Redleaf and David Ross.
