Hope's Hands will work to increase awareness of youth's needs.
Hope, opportunity,
purpose and encouragement, that is what the “Hope” in
Hope’s Hands stands for.
Over 60 people gathered at Monterey Baptist Church last week to
help launch Hope’s Hands, a new community service program
for Owen County.
The Hope’s Hands mission is to raise awareness of the needs
of the community’s youth and encourage organizations to work
together to improve opportunities. The program focuses on the problems
that can lead to substance abuse and mental health issues.
Patti Clark is the Project Coordinator and is spearheading Hope’s
Hands.

basketball team that won the 1958 NCAA tournament. In basketball-crazed
Kentucky, they had been young heroes back then, handing Rupp his
fourth national title, the final jewel in his NCAA crown.
