Rebels
capture
two
of three titles
The Owen
County Parks & Recreation competitive football teams traveled
to Grant County over the weekend for Super Bowl Sunday.
All three Rebels teams made it to the North Central Kentucky Football
League’s Super Bowl for the second year in a row.
The Midget Rebels won their Super Bowl with a big win over previously
unbeaten and unscored upon Gallatin County.
The Mighty Pro team dropped their first game in two years with
a heartbreaking loss to Gallatin County. The Power House team
avenged two regular season losses to the Grant Gold team to take
the title. The following is an account of the exciting day’s
action.
