Seniors
play last game at home
It was
the last time for the Owen County seniors to play a football game
at Patterson Field. It may be a memory they would like to forget.
The Paris Greyhounds spoiled Senior Night on Friday with a 13-0
win over the Rebels.
The game proved to be another night where the defense did its
job but the offense could not find a way to score.

Judo
team competes in tournament
Judo competitors
from Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan met in Whitestown,
Ind., for the America’s Cup judo tournament.
During his first match against Owen County Judo player Mark Heuser,
Ryan Mannnebach, of Chicago, dislocated his thumb and had to be
transported to the hospital. Heuser didn’t let the accident
shake him; instead, he put on his best performance ever in the
next three matches to take second place.

sweeps Braves Blue
The Owen County Parks & Recreation competitive football teams
hosted the Grant County Braves Blue team over the weekend. The
Rebels were a little inhospitable to their guests as they swept
all three games of the triple-header. The following is an account
