Drop District Opener
It was
not the kind of start to District play the Rebels had in mind.
The DeSales Colts came into Owen County on Friday and left with
a 42-0 win.
Things got off to a bad start for Owen County and the Rebels never
recovered. Myles Poole took the ball on the second play of the
game 54 yards and an extra point later the Colts were on the scoreboard
with a 7-0 lead. The Rebels went three and out on their opening
possession and were forced to punt the ball back to DeSales. The
Colts would take advantage as they went on a 73 yard drive which
again ended in the end zone. After another extra point, DeSales
led 14-0 with 5:13 to play in the first quarter.

and Seniors to Conference before and had them shoot 100. These
young kids kept their composure well, battled the elements and
were very successful on a long course.”
