Middle
School Football rolls over Wildcats
They scored early and often. The Bowling Middle School footballers
led 24-8 at halftime and never looked back. The Rebels went
on to defeat Gallatin County 38-8 on Tuesday in Owenton.
The Rebels
used a balanced attack on offense and a stingy defense to get
the victory. The Wildcats’ only score came on a touchdown
with just seconds left in the first half. The Rebels’
final touchdown of the day came on a touchdown pass from Adam
Hazlett to Sawyer Williams with just under five minutes to play
in the game.
The team
will hit the field again tomorrow at Frankfort.
