'Harvest Moon' evening farmers' market planned

Following the rousing success of the July Midsummer Night’s Market Festival sponsored by the Owen County Farm & Craft Market, organizers announced another evening festival with music, food and fun.

The Harvest Moon Evening Farmers’ Market Festival will be held Oct. 5 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until around dark.

Chloe Epperson

Andrew and Julie Epperson are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Epperson. She arrived at 5:19 p.m. on April 9, 2007, at Deconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

She weighed 8 lb. 8 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Bonita Epperson and Tim House of Mussel Shoals Road, and Jerry Epperson of Lusby’s Mill Road. Great-grandparents are the late Harold and Eunice Gaines of Squiresville Road., Arvin (Bud) Epperson and the late Mary Belle Epperson of Lusby’s Mill.

Maternal grandparents are Jim Lane of Cleveland, Tenn., and Lynn Lane of Chattanooga, Tenn. Great-grandparents are Mary Lane and the late William Lane of Cleveland, Tenn., Lorraine Hollern and the late Charles Hollern of Altoona, Pa

William Glass

William Alan Glass and Alicia Kay Renfro of Georgetown, are proud to announce the birth of their son, William Aden, born July 3, 2007, at Saint Joseph East.

William weighed 7 lb. 7 oz. and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Velmar (Bumper) Renfro Jr. of Owenton and Melissa Kay Renfro of Owenton. Paternal grandparents are Dale and Robin Glass of Georgetown and Jerry and Debbie Kunkel of Stamping Ground.

Grant Judd

Haven Judd is proud to announce the birth of his brother, Grant Daniel, born July 11, 2007, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center at 12:05 p.m.

Grant weighed 6 lb. 10 oz. and was 20 and 1/4 inches long.

His proud parents are Andrea and Jeremiah Judd of Owenton.

He was welcomed home by maternal grandparents Bruce and Lisa Tackett of Owenton, and paternal grandparents Rodger and Fran Doel of Sparta.
