Healthcare is rteasuring our elders.”
Mother’s Day marked the beginning of a week-long, annual
celebration for those residents and staff of the nation’s
nursing homes.
May 13 through 19 is National Nursing Home Week and “Treasure
Our Elders” is this year’s theme.
The week of celebration is promoted by the American Health Care
Association and the Kentucky Association of Healthcare Facilities
(KAHCF).

Laborers spent
nearly 700 hours in April and May cleaning up an illegal dump
site on Old Landing Road. The cleanup was funded by a state
grant and cost more than $57,000.

From April 9 to May 2, workers from MCM Trucking, based out
of Lexington, spent more than 700 hours removing waste from
the site.

Dr. Daniel Mongiardo,

to access patient records and treatment procedures.
