Inflatable carnival to benefit God’s Special Little Hearts

There will be an inflatable carnival at the Owen County Fairgrounds Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $5 per child; adults are free. There will be inflatables, balloons, complete carnival concessions, snow cones, cotton candy, homemade cakes and pies for sale, and lots of games to play. A raffle will give away four tickets to Kings Island, valued at $44.95 each. Six tickets cost $5, or they can be purchased for $1 each.
There will also be a Stuff-a-Friend booth where customers can purchase an animal and have a child do his or her own stuffing.
Proceeds from the sale of the animals will go toward buying another animal for a hospitalized child battling a congenital heart defect.
Proceeds from the carnival will benefit God’s Special Little Hearts, Inc., a local organization that helps families affected by congenital heart defects.
For more information, contact Katie Columbia at (502) 463-2450. A rain date of Saturday, May 12, has been set.
