Rollins
completes naval officer training
Dennis Lee Rollins, a 1996 graduate of Owen County High School,
recently completed a rigorous nine-week naval officer training
school in Newport, R.I.
Courses included naval science, sea power, maritime affairs, navigation,
naval engineering and naval weapons.
Rollins is currently on his 10th year of active duty service and
is a full-time student at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Upon
graduation, he will attend flight school in Pensacola, Fla.
Rollins is the son of Dennis and Patricia Rollins and the grandson
of Patty Jean Rollins of Owenton and Barb and Bob French of Fairfield,
Ohio.
