Pageants make winners of Owen countians

2006 pageant winners

Winners in last week’s Owen County Fair pageants were:
Miss Owen County — Morgan Juett; Courtney Davis, first runner-up; Jimi Sue Lynn, second runner-up; Teena Lynn, third runner-up; Shadoe Perry, fourth runner-up and Miss Congeniality.
Miss Pre-Teen – Dotie Lynn; Elizabeth Lusby, first runner-up; Michaela Sipple, second runner-up.
Ms. Owen County — Kelly Thomas; Angie Gibson, first runner-up; Michelle Duvall, second runner-up.
Miss Teen Owen County — Lauren Lowe; Melina Bress, first runner-up and Miss Congeniality; Cori Eckert, second runner-up; Mary Helen Lynn, third runner-up; Jazmine Gunsauley, fourth runner-up.
Little Prince — Jonah O’Banion; Gregory Webster, first runner-up; Cody Anderson, second runner-up; Brandon Lewis, third runner-up.
Little Princess — Piper Walker; Paige Houser, first runner-up; Ali Gill, second runner-up; Kylie Robinson, third runner-up.
Little Miss — Amber Gover; Felicity Wright, first runner-up; Brandi Mears, second runner-up; Audrey Lewis, third runner-up.
Little Master — Guy Cobb; Isaac Beverly, first runner-up; Timmy Morris, second runner-up; Colby Wright, third runner-up.

2006 Little Miss And Master

Bruce Receives Hazel Jo Arnold Award

Brenda Bruce accepted the Hazel Jo Arnold Award from Judy Hetterman July 15. Bruce received the highest total number of points in the open class and Homemaker division in the exhibit building.

Richardson Honored As Top Individual

Edgbert Richardson, top individual, accepted a silver platter from Judy Hetterman July 15. Richardson received the highest number of points in open class division in the exhibit building.

 

Cammack Takes Home Prize

Noah Cammack, the son of Tim and Kitty Cammack, treated audiences at last week’s pet parade to a performance with his dancing dog. Cammack took home first prize in the talent division.

 

Rainbow Shines On Fair

A rainbow shone down on fairgoers gathered at the pavilion for one of many pageants last week. No word has been received on the spotting of a pot of gold at rainbow’s end.


Fun At The Fair

The Arenacross event, right, drew large crowds and showcased amateur and professional riders Thursday night. Several Owen countians entered the race.
