C. Lee, 84
Robert C. Lee, 84, of
New Columbus, died at 11:30 p.m. June 30, 2006, at the New Horizons
Medical Center in Owenton.
He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture Division
of Weights and Measures, and he was a farmer.
He was also a retired member of the Owen County Board of Education,
which he served for 23 years. He was a former insurance agent
for Woodmen of the World and was the treasurer for the New Columbus
Cemetery. He was a member of the New Columbus Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna Rose Lee; one daughter, Patty
Wright of Corinth; one son, Bobby Lee of Corinth; five grandchildren;
and nine great grandchildren.
Services were July 3, 2006, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth.
Officiating were the Rev. Paul Briscoe, the Rev. Jesse Bourne
and the Rev. Ronnie Angell. Burial followed in the New Columbus
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Neil Cobb, Glenn Wright, Robert Scott Lee, John
Paul Hanson, Jimmy Lawrence and Clinton House.
Honorary pallbearers were Wallace Whitton, Raymond Duncan, Floyd
Kincaid, June Hunter, Elmer Wright, William Simpson, Dub Juett,
Greg Pearson, Scott Gibson, Forrest Hunter and Mark Hertweck.
Memorials are suggested to the New Columbus Cemetery Perpetual
Care Fund, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 7, Corinth, Ky.
