Rebels miss state bid in 6-4 loss to 2005 All A state champs

It was the extra inning that did the Rebels in.
The Owen County High School baseball team rallied to tie Owensboro Catholic, only to see the Aces score a pair of runs in the eighth inning to beat the Rebels 6-4 on Saturday during the quarterfinals of the All A Classic at Applebee’s Park.


Primary election day is Tuesday

Angry residents went before the city council last week to complain about the conditions of their neighborhoods.
Beverly Minch, 116 East Perry St., and Rachel Riddle, 111 East Perry St., both had concerns about a house at 125 East Perry St. that they said was in poor condition and the front and back yards had become a haven for trash.
