By the end of summer, Curtis Sigretto hopes to unveil his newest venture to the public. That’s how long it should take to complete the four-floor winery he’s building on Hwy. 330 near the intersection with Hwy. 227.

Citing the results of last year’s Owen 20/20 survey, Owen County Judge-Executive Billy O’Banion said he will present the Owen County Fiscal Court with an ordinance in the coming months that will prohibit sexually-oriented businesses from locating in Owen County.

Owen 20/20 task forces to kick off Tuesday night

Meeting is at 6:30 p.m.

Owen County residents interested in participating in Phase II of the Owen 20/20 project are invited and encouraged to attend a task force training meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Owen County Extension Office. Dinner will be provided.


Community Health Day is Saturday

Will feature medical screenings, free food, family activities

If it’s time to give blood, you can do it Saturday at the Community Health Day.
